Murphy`s Original Steak House in Bartlesville

Just had a BLT... Best spot in town for a bite to eat! Locally famous 😋

Chicken fried steak was wonderful and tender enough to cut with my fork, mashed potatoes were flavorful and plenty of both! Husbands burger was tasty as well. Service was below par, have gotten better service at chikfila, no smiles, never checked back to see if our meals were okay, never refilled drinks. I guess whatever she was doing on her phone was more important than doing her job. Who knows.

I've eaten here a few times I had a steak the first time which was good. The second time I had a Hot steak and was disappointed. The meat was a frozen patty with no flavor. I was excited to take my daughter here and then, it was disappointing. I wish they used fresh patties. The salad dressing is so yummy!! Best ranch!

This place was recommended by a local. He told us to get the hot hamburger, which is two slices of toasted bread to hamburger patties smothered in their famous Murphy's brown gravy top with homemade french fries and smothered with more gravy, cheese if you like cheeseburgers. My eating mate got the hamburger I ordered a bacon cheeseburger medium, which by the way was perfect the bread was toasted with soft on the outside the bacon was plentiful the fries were amazing. This is a great local spot I highly recommend it :-)

Great food. Burger was very good. The famous Hot Hamburger looked great. We didn't have it but saw some folks eating it. Diner feel and could have been a bit cleaner, but overall good dining with varied menu.

The ht hamburger is certainly worth a try. The gravy is extremely, disconcertingly dark. But, have no fear and gravy over all.

If Hot Hamburgers are a northern OK treasure, Murphy's is Henry Morgan. Famous, great, but not the best. Its probably sacrilegious but i believe that Weezy's has a better gravy.Great Experience, and enjoyed the food overall.

This is the place to go for a perfect hamburger and wonderful waitresses! And try the “House” garlic salad dressing, I love it.

Ok first this hot burger was hands down gross. Too me! But this place is very old and dirty. The staff was super lit. One girl crying the others laughing at her. It was crazy. Seems like everyone knows everybody that comes through there so that cool. I would give it another shot but probably just go through the pick up window.

The service was great, portions were big, and food was delicious! Their homemade ranch and blue cheese were sooooo good.

Of course we came here for the famous hot hamburger. We ordered the junior and it is still too much food for one person. The service was great. It is always a good experience eating here.

Wonderful experience, we had the famous hot hamburger with Jalapeno's and a side salad with garlic dressing. The food was good but the service was amazing considering we came on a Sunday during lunch.The inside reminded me of the old TV show Alice.

THE only place to go for the Original Hot Hamburger, gravy over all. I grew up in Bartlesville and in my 37 years I've never ordered anything else. The food and the classic experience make this a must see place to eat if you're nearby.

By far one of my favorite places to eat! The hot cheeseburger with gravy over all is the best! They have homemade fries and great crushed ice! Pick you up a t-shirt if you visit as well.

My grandfather used to stop at Murphy’s on his sales trips. He was a Morton salt salesman. He became good friends with the Murphy’s. Later I’m life he would come visit us and take me to lunch here because he loved it so much. We recently celebrated MY granddaughters birthday here.

I love this place. I come here every time I am in town. I always get the super delicious Hot Hamburger with gravy over all. But this time I decided to just get a burger. It was great. I love Merphy's!

This place is great, our waitress very nice and friendly. She found this our first time there and said she would be right back, and she brought us a plate of the world famous gravy and some fries. This eatry has great burgers and pie, you will have to try.

Well ,it is kinda like a diner setup,i had the steak,it was supposed too be seared but i don't think it was, it was a ribeye,had no flavor but it was cooked too perfection, i had 3 jumbo shrimp with it,they were really good,and we had a sirloin, again no original flavor but cooked very good

The hot hamburger with gravy over all is pretty good. The friendly staff and decent prices would make me say I would eat there again.

Stopped in for lunch. I had the hot steak open faced sandwich, gravy over all! It was great and the lunch price was wonderful. We were welcomed and everyone was friendly!

Hot Hamburger, smothered in brown gravy. Ohhh... When you first walk in, you will be in the waiting area. Just yell out "Who's last". Now you will know your position in line.

I like the food choices and friendly staff here, though I wish the seating area was larger than a living room. Due to the small space, there is a huge wait to be seated and it seems to always be crowded throughout the day.

Top 3 Best greasy tasty burger in the state if not #1.Hot hamburger platter is the best guilty burger plate in the nation. You will want to take the Garlic dressing home with you.

This doesn’t seem to be a place that you would happen to be driving by and pull in to but it is SO worth the drive!Staff was helpful and attentive. Food tasted like my grandma was just around the corner - so I better wash up and call everyone else in!Over an hour and a half each way for us but won’t hesitate to make that journey!!

Food, to me was good but not outstanding like the hype. Steak House? They have steaks but it's more of a burger joint with cool history and atmosphere. The waitress was very good, but the only smile I saw was when I gave her a large tip lol. Sounds stupid but it does make a difference! If you like brown gravy... This is your place!
